With rapid population growth, increased demand for more food, fragile ecosystems, increasing energy demand and eminent dangers from climate change, the agricultural sector in Ethiopia will invest in technological advances to guarantee food security at household level, clinch availability of sufficient supply for industries and increase the production of selected agricultural outputs for the export market.

The agriculture sector extends its opportunities to farmers, industrialists, exporters, aggregators and other key players and the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) is committed to work with all involved to ensure transformation of the sector will be realized at a much faster pace than ever before. The three domains MoA will be focusing will center on the provision of optimal incentives to sector participants, availing evidence, data, skills and knowledge to farmers, extension workers, scientists and policy makers and to invest in key priority infrastructures to translate the country natural resources to good and sustainable use. የኢኖቬሽን ፈንድ ድጋፍ ዓላማ ፡ በግብርና ሜካናይዜሽን የአነስተኛ አርሶ አደሮች ኑሮ ለማሻሻል፡፡

የግብርና ሜካናይዜሽን ለአነስተኛ አርሶ አደሮች ፕሮጀከት (AMS) በጀርመን መንግስት የገንዝብ ድጋፍ እና GIZ ከግብርና ሚኒስቴር ጋር በመተባበር የሚተገበር ፕሮጀክት ነው፡፡ AMS ፕሮጀክት የአነስተኛ አርሶ አደሮች ግብርና አሰራርን ለማዘመን አዳዲስ እና ጅምር የፈጠራ ሃሳብ ላላቸው ወጣቶቸና ግለሰቦች የፈጠራ ሃሳባቸውን ወደ ተግባር የሚቀይሩበት የኢኖቬሽን ፈንድ አዝጋጅቷል፡፡

AMS ፕሮጀክት ለአነስተኛ አርሶ አደሮች በቀላሉ የሚተገበር እና ተደራሽ መሆን የሚችል የግብርና ሜካናይዜሽን የፈጠራ ሃሳብ ላላቸው እና ለመተግበር ለሚተጉ የፈጠራ ሃሳብ ባለቤቶች ከቴከኒክና የቢዝነስ ማማከር እስክ 3 ሚሊዮን ብር የሚደርስ የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ማድረግ ይፈልጋል፡፡ስለሆነም ለአነስትኛ አርሶ አደሮች ተስማሚ የፈጠራ ሃሳብ ያላችሁና ማመልከት ለምትፈልጉ በድረ ገፅ www.mechanise-farms.org በተጨማሪም በቴሌግራም https://t.me/amsinnovationfund ይጎብኙ፡፡

Innovation Fund - To Improve Farmers’ Livelihoods through Agricultural Mechanisation

Agricultural Mechanisation for Smallholder Farmers in Ethiopia (AMS) Project is funded by the German government (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA).

The AMS Project supports innovative ideas that enhance access to agricultural mechanisation for smallholder farmers. The Innovation Fund will provide technical, business management support and financial grants of up to 3 million ETB for innovators who are dedicated to developing and implementing innovative agricultural mechanisation solutions for smallholders.

የቁም እንስሳት ኳራንቲን አገልግሎት ላይ ምክክር ተካሄደ፡፡

የግብርና ሚኒስቴር የቁም እንስሳት ኳራንቲን አገልግሎት አሰጣጥ ላይ ከባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር የጋራ ውይት አድርጓል፡፡

በግብርና ሚኒስቴር የእንስሳት እና አሳ ሃብት ሚ/ር ዴኤታ የሆኑት ዶ/ር ፍቅሩ ረጋሳ ኢትዮጵያ ትልቅ የእንሳሳት ሃብት ያላት መሆኑን ገልፀው ነገር ግን ሃብታችንን በአግባቡ ባለመጠቀማችን፣ አግባብ ያለው የግብይት ስርዓት ባለመዘርጋቱ፣ ደረጃውን የጠበቀ ኳራንቲን ባለመኖሩ፣ ጤንነቱ የተጠበቀ እንስሳት ባለመቅረቡ እና የመሰረተ ልማት ችግሮች መኖራቸው በዘርፉ ውጤታማ እንዳንሆን ለዘመናት እንቅፋት ሆኖ ቆይቷል ብለዋል፡፡

በዕፀዋት ጤና አጠባበቅ ፍኖተ ካርታ ላይ አውደ ጥናት ተካሄደ

የግብርና ሚኒስቴር የዕፀዋት ጤና አጠባበቅ ዳይሬክቶሬት ከኢትዮጵያ ግብርና ምርምር ምክር ቤት ሴክሬታሪያት ጋር በመሆን በዕፀዋት ጤና አጠባበቅ ያዘጋጀውን ፍኖተ ካርታ ከሚመለከታቸው ባለድርሻ አካለት ጋር በአዳማ ከተማ ሰኔ 11/2013 ዓ.ም ውይይት አካሄደ፡፡ በአውደ ጥናቱ ላይ ተገኝተው ንግግር ያደረጉት የግብርና ሚኒስቴር የእርሻ ልማት ዘርፍ ሚኒስቴር ዴኤታ ተወካይ አቶ ገርማሜ ጋሩማ እንደገለጹት ከዚህ ቀደም በዕፀዋት ጥበቃ የነበረን አቅም ትልቅ ነበር ይህንን አቅማችንን ደግሞ ይበልጥ አጠናክረን መስራት ያሰፈልጋል ብለዋል፡፡.
